Jim McDonald

Jim graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2022 and moved back to his hometown to join the Holly House team shortly afterwards. He grew up in Leeds and used to volunteer at Hope Pastures Horse & Donkey Sanctuary as well as the Harewood House Bird Garden. He has a passion for surgery, ultrasonography, exotics (especially rabbits and rodents) and sighthounds. 

In his free time, Jim enjoys reading horror/dystopian/thriller novels, knitting and crocheting. Being Yorkshire born and bred, he also enjoys exploring the dales, and camping where possible. 

He currently has a cat (called Toad) but plans on expanding his family in the future
