Laura started as a weekend Auxiliary Nurse at Holly House back in 2006. She later progressed to full-time work and completed her student nurse training, qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 2014. She is a self confessed cat lover, having a natural empathy and understanding with cats and their owners. She is our 'Cat Advocate', playing an integral role in maintaining 'cat friendly standards' and is happy to speak to clients while their cat is in with us about their care. She has three very spoilt cats called Simba, Joey and Mojo. Outside work, Laura enjoys going to the gym and is also a qualified personal trainer. Laura has voluntreed to help animals around the world, her previous experience includes working in Africa with big cats, at Isle of Wight Zoo with a variety of creatures, India with mainly cats and dogs, and Thailand!
