Ruby Shepherd

Ruby Joined the Holly House team in August 2022 as a Veterinary Care Assistant at our Ilkley branch, before starting her veterinary nursing course in September 2022.

Ruby previously gained her Veterinary care assistant qualification at Askham Bryan College and completed 300 hours of work experience in vet practice, whilst also working part time at a horse racing stable! 

Ruby is mainly based at our Ilkley branch, but you may also see her at our hospital. 
She has a keen interest in anaesthesia and surgery however she is also enjoying learning more about inpatient care and emergencies at our hospital. 

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her two cheeky Jack Russell's and riding her two ponies Fatty and Alice.
