Olivia Shires

I joined the Holly House team at the end of September 2022 as a work experience student whilst studying at Askham Bryan college. I completed the Introduction to Animal Nursing Course which gave me an insight into the veterinary world. After this, I knew that I wanted to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse via the apprenticeship pathway. I am currently studying at The College of Animal Welfare in order to do this; which I am absolutely loving.

I have a fond love for dogs and small animals, I have an 11-year-old cockapoo called Boris who I adore and I used to have two pet rats (Wriggly and Stitch).

Outside of work I love ice skating, which I used to do as a sport, and I love spending time with friends and my twin sister Ellie.
