Sara Ramsey

Sara is one of our senior vets. She qualified from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies Edinburgh , and has worked in small animal practice continuously since 2002.   Working first in Dewsbury , then  Lincolnshire for 10 years before joining Holly House in 2013.  She completed a post graduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2018 and has recently achieved Advanced Practitioner Status. 

She is originally from Harrogate and now lives in North Leeds. She has a British Shorthair cat called Wendy (a Blue-Cream Tortoiseshell).

Sara is passionate about providing excellent first opinion veterinary care.  She enjoys medicine particularly,  as it enables her to follow up cases and work with owners long term to manage their pets' health. Sara also works with the nursing team to maintain and improve clinical standards and mentors new staff through Clinical Coaching.
