Registered Veterinary Nurse/2nd Year SVN
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse or a 2nd Year SVN to join our fantastic team. We are a friendly bunch with a real passion for high standards of care! Your role at Holly House would include an interesting and varied caseload. Our shifts can be a mix including wards, surgery, consultations. If you enjoy Nurse Consultations, mentoring or puppy classes, then we have lots for you to get involved in too! • Salary £22000-£25000 DOE
• 40 hours per week (including weekends and nights)
Holly House Vets are a 24-hour RCVS accredited small animal hospital based in West Yorkshire. We are friendly bunch with a real passion for high standards of care! We have a wonderful, purpose-built hospital with two fully equipped branch sites. Our equipment includes, K-Laser, CT scanner, state of the art anaesthetics and monitoring equipment, operating suite and digital radiography area and much more! We see a varied mix of first opinion work and referrals in surgery, medicine, CT and exotics. No two days are the same!
Our team consists of 19 vets and 32 in our nursing team, Cert holders in exotics, medicine and surgery. We are a friendly and supportive team. We have a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing and participate in monthly Schwartz Rounds to discuss the emotional aspects of our work.
This vacancy would suit an RVN or a confident second year SVN. Hospital experience is advantageous but not essential. The most important attributes are a good work ethic and willingness to work within a team.
